Real Estate Investment Resources with Jeff Nemeth

A friend of mine, Jeff Nemeth with Real Estate Investment Resources has been up to some pretty BIG things…some really exciting ‘behind the scenes’ stuff.

Some of you may actually have heard his name; he’s helped me out with my Business Credit Infusion program and has gotten me several speaking engagements.

He also works with a guy named Rick Harper, you may remember my blog post and video last year called ‘Hacking it With Harper’ where Jeff got me in to conduct an impromptu interview with Rick on a Friday afternoon?

Well, Jeff hooked me up with Rick again and we’re about to release a product where I conducted a full length interview.  It’s going to be released soon and will be called ‘Secure Your Future with Real Estate Investing’.  Keep your eyes open for this; I’ll be letting everyone know about it when it’s released.

“Stop sending me emails or else…”

When I get an email that says, “Stop sending me emails or else I’ll sick my attorney on you,” I just have to stop and ponder…then I laugh. It’s funny because you can always opt-out at the bottom of each email.

This person probably hates life and is looking for any outlet to go on a rampage. Others simply are offended by my kind of marketing and sharing. They think, how juvenile. What does this guy know?

That’s too bad. You really can learn from everyone (especially a guy that has invested over $30,000 in marketing seminars, conferences and masterminds)!

So you might be thinking, “Dustin why do you send so many emails? It’s obvious you are offending people!”

The answer is think of all the companies and businesses you’ve bought something from and never heard from again! Where did they go? Makes you wonder if they are just interested in selling you.

I send out daily emails to give you content and to entertain you - to build our relationship. By doing so you know that I’m not some fly-by-night operation and that I’m not going anywhere. Heck, my address is right on the website!

I know you might not read every one, but when you want to plug back in, you know where to go. By doing this I’m constantly on your brain - which is what marketers salivate over.

My good friend Preston Ely does this. He’s way out there for most, and people either love him or hate him, but everyone is talking about him. Just like talking about crazy celebrities at the water cooler.

P.S. About those crazy people. Some people will say if you aren’t pissing off some people you are doing the best job you could be. There is just no way to make everyone on this planet happy. Simply remove these people from your list and move on!

Boring Emails Are Useless

I’m tired of seeing boring e-mails in e-mail marketing. There is no emotion behind them, so how can you expect to create the emotion to motivate your prospect buy or much less act. If you want results, spice up your e-mails and personalize them.

I can’t tell you how important it is to build a persona with your clients. They get to know you through your e-mails, and it becomes easier fro mthem to buy from you.

I’m involved in the corporate world and see boring e-mails everyday. But even in the corporate world you’ve got to have personality. Choose one or two people to essetinally be the spokespeople for your company. A rule of thumb is one spokesperson per department. For example a company’s structure could be as follows:

General company messages: CEO
Marketing/Sales: Director of Marketing or Sales
Training: Training Director
etc…

Be sure not to confuse the message and stay consistent!

E-Mail Marketing Examples

Part of creating your image is making a name for yourself through your communications with customers. Be creative and don’t think about the importance of every last word. This isn’t as demanding a word as sales copy - they receive emails from you a lot more than going to your site!

Here are three examples I created in less than 10 mintues yesterday morning.

Example 1 ——————-
Hi ~Contact.FirstName~,

Customers from South Florida: PLEASE STOP BLOWING UP MY PHONE! Yes, as a customer of ForeclosuresDaily you get to come to this class absolutely free.

Since, so many of you have called, I am flying Steve Jackson from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale to give you a private, in-depth training session on using technology to explode your business.

Our customers here in Tampa are staying ahead of the competition, by leveraging technology to get deals. I didn’t believe it, but when I started seeing the checks, I changed my thoughts quick!

People that couldn’t get any deals, are landing their 1st and 2nd deals! And then there are some supercharging their house buying business (like Steve Jackson) and doing at LEAST 1 deal per month.

I was trying to decide who I’d rather have Roger Salam or David Naylor for the upcoming event, about a moth or so ago.
