DustinMathews.com – Entrepreneurial FREEDOM or is it?

Thursday, July 12th – Today is the first day on my own! I took the “giant leap of faith” and left the corporate world behind to venture into a world of my own.

Now, I’m not going to proclaim that I hated every day of life and that the office politics ate at me, like you hear so many people say. I learned and grew a lot with an AWESOME company. It started out of the back of cars and grew into a 10,000 square foot building. I was given an opportunity that changed my life. It’s simply AMAZING.

However, the essence of entrepreneurial left every day as the company grew and grew. The company will be successful, but I just didn’t like being stuck behind the desk, so here I am!

This morning I had a call with my coach and we discussed “the Freedom.” But is it freedom? Now I work for an INSANE boss…myself?

Freedom to do what I want, but it’s the same freedom from a regular paycheck. The next milestone in the journey is FREEDOM from bills or so I think? Can one ever reach true freedom?
