Donald’s Trump Apprentice
January 13, 2007
I’m a firm believer of writing your goals down. And truth be told if you write your goals down, and you have some sort of work ethic - you’re 50% likely to accomplish what you put on paper. I recently reviewed my goals from both 05 and 06, since I hadn’t ever reviewed them, and found that I had accomplished half from 05 and half from 06. So my I asked myself, what if I actually posted them somewhere where I could see them every day? What would my results be?
I don’t have the answer because I just stumbled upon this, but I already have them hanging on my bathroom mirror. I guess you’ll just have to check back in next year.
I also believe that you MUST share your goals with your family, your friends, and the world. It makes them more real, and gives you an element of accountability. So here it is January 13, 2007 and I am shouting my goal to the world that I will be on Donald Trump’s Apprentice in the next season. As the new season (Apprentice 6) just got started, I’ll be on the lookout for casting calls.
Newspaper Advertising (FREE Ad)
January 9, 2007
I’m taking for first REAL venture into newspaper advertising. I have written a 1/2 page vertical ad for a seminar that we are doing in Pensacola with Matt Gillogly.
I’ve modeled it after a human interest story so that it blends in and sells people people on the idea of attending the idea of attending. You’ll see the classic elements - interesting headline, subheads, a call to action, and FREE offer.
Now while I think it looks pretty good, the true test is how many people register. I’m not trying to win any awards, I’m trying to make money and fill the seats! I’m running this for 4 days and will update you with the details. At 10K for the run, it better pull!
